Here is some useful information about the various contact lens care products available.

Saline Solution
Used to clean and store contact lenses. It can be used together with enzymatic tablets to remove protein deposits.

All-In-One or Multi-Purpose Solution
As the name suggests, it is used to clean, disinfect, rinse and store contact lenses. Some products may also contain a protein remover or a moisture protection element.

Hydrogen Peroxide Solution

Used to disinfect and store contact lenses. To prevent stinging the eye upon reinsertion, a neutralizing tablet may have to be added unless the solution has a neutralizing element or the neutralizer is a part of the lens holder itself.

Daily Cleaner
Removes dirt and debris from contact lenses. A few drops are added and the lens is rubbed clean. The cleaner is used in combination with cleaning and disinfecting products.

Protein Remover/Enzyme cleaner
Designed to remove protein build-up, they are used more for conventional lenses than disposables, which are discarded before a significant amount of protein can collect. Usually in the form of drops or a tablet, it is added to cleaning and disinfecting solutions for specified period of time.

Eye drops/Rewetting solution
Used as a lubricant to increase comfort level while wearing lenses.
